Yes chilled fruit smoothies to begin the day with and let me tell you its not less than a dessert. And who would not love to start the day with a dessert !

CHOCOLATE NICE CREAM

Yield – One Smoothie Bowl

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 bananas (frozen)
  • 2 tsp cocoa powder
  • 3 tbsp yoghurt / coconut milk (for vegan recipe)
  • 2 tbsp pomegranate seeds
  • 3-4 coconut pieces

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Add frozen banana, cocoa powder and yoghurt/ coconut milk in the blender. Blend until the mixture is smooth. Pour the mixture in a bowl. Top it with pomegranate seeds, chocolate chips and coconut pieces. Serve it chilled.

PEANUT BUTTER BANANA SMOOTHIE

Yield – One Smoothie Bowl

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 large bananas (frozen)
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup yoghurt/ coconut milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp pomegranate seeds
  • 1 tbsp almond silvers

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Peel, slice the bananas and freeze them overnight. Add the frozen bananas, peanut butter, vanilla extract and yoghurt/ coconut milk in the blender. Blend until smooth. Pour it in a bowl, top it with pomegranate seeds, almond silvers and serve immediately.

PINEAPPLE BANANA SMOOTHIE

Yield – One Smoothie Bowl

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 bananas (peeled, sliced & frozen)
  • 1/2 cup pineapple chunks (frozen)
  • 1/4 cup yoghurt/ coconut milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp pomegranate seeds
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 3-4 almonds, sliced
  • 1 kiwi, sliced

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Add the frozen bananas, frozen pineapple, yoghurt/coconut milk and vanilla extract to the blender. Blend until smooth. Pour it in a bowl, top with almonds, kiwi, pomegranate seeds, chia seeds and serve immediately.

Note:

For vegan recipe, use coconut milk/ almond milk instead of yoghurt. If you do not have time to freeze the bananas then add ice cubes while blending. Adding frozen bananas or ice cubes makes the smoothie thick and chilled.
